As the Communications Manager, Lisa’s role is to enhance the client experience. Working in collaboration with the management and planning teams, she curates important financial topics and distributes information at relevant times in your life. Connecting clients to timely information, Lisa brings the firm’s messaging to life via online platforms, special events, and newsletters.

Prior to joining Buttonwood, Lisa worked in public relations, marketing, and publishing. For the past decade, she wrote a column in The Howard County Times. When Lisa and her husband, Tom, became empty nesters, they followed their financial plan to downsize from their Ellicott City house where they raised their two sons. They currently reside in Charm City, where they enjoy exploring the art, history and food of the city's many neighborhoods.
Lisa enjoys researching her genealogy. She has done extensive studies on both her and her husband’s families, uncovering documents that date back 200 years.
